Disney Helps Grant Wishes Across The World
Have you seen the animated short?
From Our Family To Yours
Disney’s ‘From Our Family To Yours’ campaign includes the launch of Disney 'The Gift’. The animated short tells the touching, relatable story of a blended family as they prepare for the festive period and the arrival of a new baby. There is synergy between the advert theme of togetherness and our mission of creating joy, happiness and moments that matter through life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.
This year’s campaign brings some unique wish moments to life – from Amelia in Australia meeting her favourite character, Mickey Mouse - to Davide from Italy having his Marvel wish come true at Disneyland Paris – and Sienna in the UK, who had the opportunity to design the jacket for Sanka the dog in the Holiday advert itself. Each wish experience is represented through hidden Easter Eggs in the advert – can you spot them?
Spot the hidden Easter Eggs for Amelia
Throughout the brand-short, eagle-eyed viewers will also be able to spot several hidden Disney and Make-A-Wish ‘Easter Eggs’.
The Easter Eggs are to represent 7-year-old Amelia. Mickey Mouse means the world to Amelia, and so her wish was to meet the mouse who has been right beside her during her medical journey.

A perfect gift for Christmas
This year, in further support of Make-A-Wish Australia, Disney fans will be able to purchase a very special Christmas gift from shopDisney.com.au - the Mickey & Minnie 2022 Sketchbook Ornament.
shopDisney.com.au will donate 30% of the purchase price (excl GST) of every Mickey & Minnie 2022 Sketchbook Ornament sold on the site between November 7, 2022 - December 31, 2022 to help provide much-needed funds to deliver joy and inspiration to children facing serious illness.
The festive glass ornament features a decoratively dressed Mickey and Minnie singing carols in the snow under a candy-cane-coloured streetlamp. The ornament hangs from a beautiful red ribbon bow.
