While receiving chemotherapy treatments for her acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of 3, Aubree was separated from her beloved animals back home on the family's rural property, including:
🐔 14 chickens, 🐑 6 sheep, 🐢 1 turtle named Tia, and many more!
It's Aubree's respect and love for creatures of every kind that inspired her wish ‘to have a tea party with animals and mermaids’.
A trip to Perth Zoo
After Aubree and her family arrived in Western Australia, they were escorted via limousine to Perth Zoo, where Aubree's wish took place.
From 🦎 reptiles, wallabies, and kangaroos, to 🐒 monkeys, giraffes, and zebras (her favourite!), Aubree received VIP treatment at Perth Zoo.
But the fun didn't stop here...
It was important to be a part of Aubree's wish today to create some really special memories for the family...To see the joy on their faces was super rewarding.

The fun continued in the Japanese Garden, where Audrey and her family were surprised with the ultimate animal tea party!
Among the attendees were a fluffy flock of assorted stuffed animals, and mermaid Kat.
Together, they spent the afternoon nibbling on all of Aubree's favourite foods, face-painting (with glitter of course!), and learning all about mermaids.
Seeing the sparkle in Aubree's eyes was something enchanting and magical.
