The creativity bundle includes two stand-alone but complimentary lessons, which should take around 1 hour each to run. However, you can use plans in any order, or mix activities around to best match your classroom's learning needs, styles and interests!

These lessons support the Grade 3 and 4 Creative thinking and problem-solving general capabilities.

Specifically, they map to these capabilities:

  • Pose questions to expand their knowledge about the world
  • Expand on known ideas to create new and imaginative combinations
  • Identify pertinent information in an investigation and separate into smaller parts or ideas
  • Explore situations using creative thinking strategies to propose a range of alternatives
  • Experiment with a range of options when seeking solutions and putting ideas into action
  • Explain and justify ideas and outcomes

Description: This lesson encourages students to tap into their creativity to solve unique challenges, inspired by a Make-A-Wish story. Through imaginative brainstorming, crafting, and teamwork, students learn how creative thinking can turn dreams into reality and explore how they can apply these skills to solve everyday problems.
