Robyn Moore - National Patron

If you grew up in the 90s, you know this voice! Think fluffy ears, red overalls, and a little bit cheeky…

Robyn Moore is a national patron and dedicated volunteer for Make-A-Wish Australia, but best known as the voice of Australia’s favourite talking koala, Blinky Bill.

The fun-loving Tasmanian is also a successful voiceover artist for big budget advertising campaigns, and is now one of Australia’s most in-demand female speakers.

Robyn’s passion and energy for Make-A-Wish is inspiring, and she loves sharing wish stories across the country.

“I love telling people about the amazing work we do at Make-A-Wish. When we share our stories we enable people to fall back in love with life – we remind them about the fragility of life, the importance of family and the community, and of course, magic,” Robyn says.

“We remind people about what really matters.”

Robyn first became involved with Make-A-Wish in 1997 when she recorded a Make-A-Wish commercial using her Blinky Bill voice. After almost 20 years as a volunteer, Robyn says she’s constantly learning and growing from her encounters with wish children and their families, allowing her to authentically share the power of a wish with all of her audiences.

Robyn was inducted into our Aidan McCann Volunteer Hall of Fame in 2015, an award named in honour of former wish child and volunteer Aidan McCann. Robyn was nominated by her peers for her boundless enthusiasm in going above and beyond the call of duty, and inspiring everyone she meets about Make-A-Wish.
