Melissa Doyle - National Patron

Melissa Doyle is an experienced journalist, television presenter, author, and a proud national patron of Make-A-Wish.

The media personality is host of Channel Seven’s flagship news and public affairs program, Sunday Night, and Smooth FM radio on weekend mornings.

Melissa is a passionate advocate of children’s charities, and works hard to increase awareness of how Make-A-Wish can make a huge difference to a child’s mental, emotional and physical health.

As a mother of two, Melissa says she can greatly sympathise with the turmoil and stress experienced in a family with a child battling a life-threatening illness.

“My dream as a national patron is to ensure every child with a life-threatening illness in Australia is given the opportunity to experience the power of a wish.”

Melissa has interviewed some of the world’s most famous faces, and is a multiple Silver Logie nominee for Most Popular Television Presenter.

In the 2016 Australia Day Honours List Melissa was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to the community through representational roles with a range of charitable groups, and to the broadcast media.
