Jim’s wish was just the ticket
Following the unimaginable loss of her little boy, Jim, Sofia said, “Our family is an unfinished puzzle. There’s a big piece missing without Jim.”
When Jim and his family received the devastating news that his blood cancer had returned, and that it was spreading, his wish couldn’t wait. As a true train buff and engineering enthusiast, Jim’s wish involved a very important job on the railways - operating his favourite level crossing.
Jim reported for duty, looking the part in his hat and vest. He pressed the button and the gates went down, with lights flashing and bell ringing.
