AN UNBREAKABLE BOND
Audrey the Lego lover
After having open heart surgery for her complex cardiac disease, Audrey was left with a zipper scar on her chest. The fragility of her heart also meant avoiding high-contact sports and other such activities. To help express her thoughts and feelings, Audrey turned to the wonderful world of Lego!
At home, Audrey has boxes and boxes packed to the brim with Lego. 📦 And she has spent countless hours watching different Lego builders on YouTube. 🎬
It came as no surprise to her parents, when Audrey wished ‘to build a custom pink Lego house and have a Lego minifigure of me’. ⭐

EXPERIENCING LEGOLAND
Audrey's wish comes true
Audrey's wish began with a flight to Melbourne with her parents. Taking place at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne, Audrey received a tiny blue box containing her Mini Lego figure (with zipper scar!) kindly provided by The Minifig Co. 💙
Inside the 'Creative Workshop', Audrey was presented with her pink Lego dream house 🏰 (complete with a mermaid grotto out the back). Audrey also became an honourary Lego Master Builder and was awarded an official Lego Master Builder badge!

Working on this wish for Audrey has been so exciting! She’s such a bright and happy girl and she’s one of the bravest that I’ve met.

A SMILE WITH SPIRIT
Ari the adventurer
Though he was born with congenital muscular dystrophy, Ari is an adventurer, explorer, and daredevil—constantly defying the physical limitations of his wheelchair.
Determined to attempt things that others with his condition may find challenging, Ari wished 'for a daredevil trip to the snow'. ⛄
His adventurous spirit is also evident in his big, beautiful smile. I think we can all see where he gets it from... 😁

A SNOWY ADVENTURE
Ari's wish comes true
After Ari and his family landed at the airport in Melbourne, they made their way up to Mount Hotham, where Ari's wish took place.
Thanks to the guides at Disabled Wintersports Australia, Ari got to experience an exhilarating Sit Ski Lesson, which has given him a new sense of purpose and drive. ⭐
“He's come back with a new level of confidence, where he wants to tell all his friends what he's done and what he can do next,” said Zy, Ari's dad.

He literally wants to tackle the world and it's cool to see that he's now got that ability and drive to go and do it.
