Art Exhibition supporting the Gold Coast Branch
The Margaret Goldsmith Gallery will be holding an exhibition and raising funds for Make-A-Wish from 30th April – 13th May. On the Grand Opening on 3rd May, the Gold Coast Branch will be in attendance and will be making it a fun night not to be missed.

City2South, Sunday 16 June 2013
Join Team Wish in the inaugural Brisbane Times City2South presented by Westpac.
Sister event to Sydney’s iconic City2Surf this exciting new event will take place for the very first time on Sunday, June 16, 2013.
The spectacular 14km course will cross the Brisbane River 3 times - featuring Victoria, Go Between and Eleanor Schonell Bridges. Starting at Parliament House in the CBD, heading up George Street, through South Bank, along Coronation Drive, up to the University of Queensland, and over Highgate “Heartbreak” Hill, finishing in South Brisbane.
Elite runners, joggers, pram-pushers and walkers from around Australia will be joined by many dressed in novelty themed costumes with live music along the route.
Team Wish challenges supporters, just like you, to increase your health and fitness whilst raising money to help us grant life-changing wishes.

Mudgerraba Show featuring the Gold Coast Branch
Planning a visit to the Mudgerraba Show this year? Make sure you stop by the Gold Coast Make-A-Wish stall and have a chat to the fabulous volunteers who can tell you all about the amazing work they do. They will be selling merchandise and Mr Greg Ware – Idle Australian and Make-A-Wish Volunteer – will be singing at their stand. The branch will also make a wish presentation on the main stage on Saturday 29th at 3:30pm.

Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Saturday 6 – Sunday 7 July 2013
The Gold Coast Airport Marathon is set to motivate and challenge more than 25,000 people of all ages and abilities and we want everyone to join Team Wish at this exciting event!
There is an event for everyone at this years Gold Coast Airport Marathon including the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, the ASICS Half Marathon, the Wheelchair Half Marathon, the Southern Cross University 10km Run, the Queensland Health 5km Challenge and the Junior Dash races over 4km and 2km.
By joining Team Wish at the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, you can help us grant the wishes of seriously-ill children across Australia.

A Little Bit of Everything Family Fun Day featuring the Gold Coast Branch
The Gold Coast Branch will be taking part in this fabulous family day and money raised on the day will be donated to Make-A-Wish. There will be something for the whole family – kids rides, market stalls, food, wine tasting, music and entertainment and a Mega Auction at 12pm.

Tough Mudder, Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 August 2013
Not for the faint hearted, Tough Mudder events are hardcore 18-20 km obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.
Sound great? To get through mud, fire, ice-water, and 10,000 volts of electricity you’ll need teammates to pick you up when your spirits dip

Sunshine Coast Marathon, Sunday 25 August 2013
Back for its 2nd year, the Sunshine Coast Marathon will once again see thousands of participants flock to the Sunshine Coast to take on the picturesque course.
You can help grant wishes by focusing your participation in the Marathon on fundraising – and we’ll be there to help you every step of the way!
From start to finish the course sticks to the beachfront, taking in the best views and atmosphere the coast has to offer and spectators can get up close and personal to cheer on Team Wish!

Bridge to Brisbane - Date to be announced soon
Each year close to 40,000 join in the annual Bridge to Brisbane fun run.
When you join Team Wish you will be rewarded for choosing to make your run count! You will be given two times. Your race time and your Hero Time.
Hero Time is your race time minus one second for every dollar you raise for Make-A-Wish Australia. The more money you raise, the faster your Hero Time will be and there are fantastic prizes to be won for the fastest Hero Time!
Noosa Triathlon Multisport Festival, Sunday 3 November 2013 - entries still available
Set in one of the most beautiful areas of Australia, the Noosa Triathlon has quickly become one of the year's greatest sporting events.
Swim - 1500m. In a sheltered canal
Cycle - 40km. Undulating out and back course on the Noosa - Cooroy Road
Run - 10km. Flat, one lap out and back course through Noosa Sound
Make-A-Wish Australia is arevery excited to have been selected as an official 2013 Noosa Triathlon Festival Charity Partner. We have a limited number of entries available for this SOLD OUT event to applicants based on the strength of their commitment to fundraising.
