There are many ways in which your business, be it big or small, can partner with Make-A-Wish. Through a customised partnership that meets your specific objectives, you will not only be able to enjoy a range of strategic and commercial benefits for your business, but importantly help to make life-changing wishes come true for sick children and teenagers at a time they need it most.

Some of the ways your business can get involved with Make-A-Wish include:

The Wish Effect

The Wish Effect is an exciting new online way for businesses of all sizes to help Make-A-Wish wishes come true. Start your organisation’s Wish Effect and see what a powerful effect you can have on the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Cause-related marketing

Aligning your business with Make-A-Wish through a cause-related marketing campaign has been shown to help lead to improved brand recognition and perception, increased sales, increased customer loyalty, greater differentiation from competitors, positive PR coverage, and improved staff engagement. Some of our recent successful cause-related marketing campaigns include those with Coles, sass & bide and Cadbury.

Sponsorships

There are many ways in which your business can sponsor specific Make-A-Wish events and campaigns, and be given a range of tailored benefits and recognition offerings in return to meet your specific objectives.

Goods in-kind

To keep our operational and wish-granting costs to a minimum, we are grateful for contributions of goods in-kind. These contributions may range from goods supplied for wishes, including accommodation, flights, laptop computers, bicycles and toys, to donations for raffles and auctions or goods and services to assist in our operations.

Employee Engagement

Employee volunteering builds teamwork, company loyalty and encourages connection with local communities. Employees can become involved with Make-A-Wish in various ways including through team fundraising initiatives, Workplace Giving, volunteering assistance with key fundraising events like Wish Day, or through skilled volunteering such as training and mentoring. Employers can help facilitate employee involvement by dollar matching donations or freeing up time for employees to volunteer their services. We can help to maximise your employee engagement activities by providing access to our network of young ambassadors, who have directly benefited from Make-A-Wish wishes and can talk to your staff about the powerful impact of the wishes you are helping to grant.
