Volunteer

Make-A-Wish Australia has 58 volunteer branches across the country, creating a nationwide network. Make-A-Wish volunteers come from all walks of life and range in age from 18 to 85. Whatever the age and wherever they come from they all unite with the same common goal – to provide magical wishes to children with a life-threatening illness.

What volunteers do
Volunteers work closely with children and their families, creating the magic and memories that are at the heart of wish granting. They represent the ‘human face’ of Make-A-Wish Australia. Volunteers also assist with raising necessary funds to grant wishes. Learn more.

Become a volunteer
Joining a branch not only gives you the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and share experiences but also attaches you to a group of like-minded people working collectively as one to achieve more. Learn more.
